raster_tools.Raster.max

Raster.max(*args, **kwargs)

Reduce the raster to one dask value by applying max across all bands.

The reduction always covers every non-null cell of every band. The method accepts numpy’s reduction arguments only so that np.max(raster) can dispatch to it. Passing a positional argument or an unsupported keyword raises a TypeError, and passing a value other than the default (e.g. axis=0) raises a ValueError.
